THERE is still time to submit your questions for health bosses at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust.

A Question Time-style event will be taking place at Cowes Enterprise College tonight (Monday), between 6pm and 8pm, and will be reported live by the Isle of Wight County Press and Isle of Wight Radio.

On the recommendation of the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), 11 per cent of St Mary’s Hospital services look set to be transferred to the mainland within three to five years. Islanders will have now the chance to ask questions and find out what this will mean for their services on the Isle of Wight.

On stage, to answer questions, will be:

  • Steve Parker – Clinical Lead for Acute Service Redesign and Interim Medical Director, Isle of Wight NHS Trust
  • Dr Barbara Stuttle – Director of Nursing, Isle of Wight NHS Trust
  • Loretta Outhwaite – Interim Chief Exec, Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Vaughan Thomas – Chair of Isle of Wight NHS Trust
  • Gillian Baker – Director of Strategy & Partnerships, Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Dr Michele Legg – GP and Chair of Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body
  • Richard Samuel – Hampshire & Isle of Wight Sustainability and Transformation Lead

Questions can be submitted until midday today, by emailing questions@iwcp.co.uk.

Free tickets for the event are available from the County Press, at Pyle Street, Newport, and from Isle of Wight Radio, at Dodnor Park, Newport.

You can follow the event online at iwcp.co.uk, or by listening to Isle of Wight Radio.
