A man is accused of shop thefts including an air fryer from Hurst.

Vincent Petroccione, 33, who lives over the road from Hurst, on Holyrood Street, Newport, is accused of four counts of theft from a shop.

His case was heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

He was charged with theft of an air fryer to the value of £97.99, belonging to Hurst, in Newport, on February 22, theft of food items to the value of £227, belonging to The Co-Operative, on February 29, meat to the value of £27 belonging to The Co-Operative, on March 11, and theft of food items to the value of £6.03 belonging to The Co-Operative, on March 2.

The case was adjourned to May 15, at the same venue.
