SEASAFE SYSTEMS Ltd has pumped fresh investment into its life-jacket business.
The company has invested a six figure sum in new life-jacket manufacturing equipment at its Somerton factory.
The new machinery will be used for producing life-jacket 'lungs’, which means the company can now make and assemble all life jacket components of a life-jacket.
SeaSafe is best known for its jackets with concealed life-jackets, worn by professional mariners, recreational and racing sailors.
As one of the few European-based companies with lung-making machinery, in addition to its own range of SeaSafe branded life-jackets, the company now also supplies life-jacket lungs to several other leading European makers.
