A LEWISHAM martial arts club is celebrating overall victory in the UK National Open Taekwondo competition. Sun Su Taekwondo came back from Bristol with 11 gold medals and five silver, securing first place overall. The club also visited Belgium for the International Taekwondo Open. Jermaine Jones and Dee Hanjaree both won bronze in their respective categories.
Sun Su's fighters are now preparing for selections for the European and World Championships. Children as young as five can take up this increasingly popular Olympic sport. For more details call Glen Frame from Sun Su Taekwondo on 0956 228 092.
