A Wimbledon club has been selected by the Lawn Tennis Association to take part in Britain's biggest ever tennis promotion.

Wilton Tennis Club on Wilton Grove will open its courts free to tennis lovers on Sunday as part of Play Tennis 98, a national week of tennis.

People of all ages can take part in the event at selected venues across the country from Saturday, May 23 to May 30. Racquets and balls are provided.

Wilton will host a variety of activities during the week beginning on Sunday, including the Adult Mixed American Tournament, Junior Coaching and Adult Tennis Fitness Class.
