VENTNOR FRINGE
AGAINST the bare brick and peeling paint that covers the Seacliff Studio’s walls, the Mantova Eyes Exhibition explores in real depth the meaning of abandonment and desuetude.
These evocative images, captured by a group of photographers in the Mantua area of Italy, manage to shine new light upon precious antique settings.
A blend of clever lighting and inspired camera-work coupled with the inclusion of "ghostly" figures that appear as blurred shadows among the ruins.
Hauntingly memorable and set perfectly in a slightly spooky cliff-side hideaway, this exhibition is an essential experience for art aficionados and families alike.
The free exhibition runs until tomorrow (Saturday).
