LETTERS From Tanya Carlile, Toulouse, France:
I am writing to inform you how distasteful I found Charlotte Hofton’s scathing article on Kinky Knickers (CP, 02-03-12).
Sadly, negative attitudes such as hers are too prevalent in the British media.
How disappointing, yet of no surprise, to find that after pulling apart a project, which has rather admirable goals, she has none of her own to give to help improve the lot of the poorly educated and long-term unemployed of the United Kingdom.
May I suggest someone with her position and talent for writing use it to bring hope rather than to destroy it.
Now, can you tell me where I can buy a pair on the internet? As I would like to back a project that gives youngsters employment.
