ICE HOCKEY
FORWARD Craig Tribe has signed for Wightlink Raiders.
The 27 year old, has 15 goals and 22 assists across 106 EPL games with both Bracknell Bees and Basingstoke Bison.
Player coach Jeremy Cornish said Tribe would be a key signing.
He said: "I’ve said all along we need to sign top line British players to allow us to challenge for the league and in Craig with have that sort of player.
"He’s a proven goalscorer at this level, he has loads of EPL experience and his mix of size and skill will really benefit us at home and on the road.
"I’ll be using him as a top line player and he’ll be expected to provide leadership for us this season."
Prior to playing in the EPL, Tribe was a key member of the Bracknell Hornets team, which won the ENL play-offs.
