Theatre acts are simply amazing

LETTERS From Martin and Anne Hoy, Sandown:

LAST Saturday evening we visited the wonderful Shanklin Theatre, this time to see the Michael Jackson tribute act.

Once again, we were amazed at the quality of acts this incredible theatre manages to attract.

This year we have also been to see tributes to the Rat Pack, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons (The East Coast Boys) and T Rex (T Rextasy), the great Joe Longthorne and the play Don’t Dress for Dinner.

We always leave wondering how they can be so good for a fraction of West End prices?

Having had the privilege of seeing Michael Jackson live at the height of his success, the young man on Saturday night, with dancers and singers, put on a show Jackson would have been proud of.

If anyone has not had the chance to visit this theatre yet, run by such dedicated volunteers, we strongly urge you to do so.
