LETTERS From Carol Bryan, chairman, Totland Parish Council, Totland:
I WOULD like to say what an excellent day it was last Saturday, when the Olympic torch came through Totland, it was such a momentous occasion.
The organisation by Lee Matthews and his team from the IW Council was second to none, everything was extremely well thought out.
I know a lot of time and effort was put into this, and how it showed on the day. We had close on 10,000 people in Totland, and I would like to thank every one of them for making it such a joyous occasion.
Residents were in a good party mood and the sun shone, what more could we ask for.
