BISHOP'S Stortford Football Club are crossing their fingers for a decent start to the season when their Ryman Premier League fixtures are published next week.

The Blues, who struggled last season to keep pace with the top teams, were forced to travel to local grounds after Christmas having moved from Rhodes Avenue to take up residence at a new ground and they flirted with relegation to Division One for the bulk of the season.

But they will have plenty of practice before the season starts on August 22 with six pre-season friendlies to break them in.

Sadly, though, they may still lose the services of striker David Adekola, as revealed in Citizen Sport a fortnight ago.~
