HYUNDAI UK was crowned best car manufacturer in the 2012 Car Dealer power awards at a ceremony at Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth, recently.
The accolade was received after a survey run by Car Dealer magazine sought to find the best car manufacturer in the industry. Completed by more than 1,000 dealers across the UK, the survey confirms Hyundai's solid partnership with its dealers.
James Baggott, editor of Car Dealer, said: "These awards are voted for by those that matter the most — the dealers. Hyundai has obviously worked hard on forging an impressive partnership with its dealers."
Tony Whitehorn, president and chief executive of Hyundai UK, said: "This is a hugely significant award for our business as it recognises the hard work and effort of our team here in the UK."
Business is booming for Hyundai, which has reported more than an 11 per cent increase in car sales so far this year.
Sandown’s Wight Motors is the Hyundai dealer on the Island.
