FOLLOWING its success in recent years, the IW annual Motability event takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Medina Leisure Centre, Newport.
The show offers a great opportunity to learn more about the scheme and how it can help them, as well as the chance to see some of the most popular vehicles available on display under one roof.
Motability is a national UK scheme which helps disabled people and their families to become more mobile. The scheme was launched as part of a government initiative in 1977 and its aim is to enable disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease or buy a car.
This year sees the show increase in size to include Premier Ford, with several models from the Ford range on display, Esplanade Garage, with Volkswagen and Mercedes, Staddlestones with Nissan and Peugeot, Central Garage with Citroen, Harwoods with Vauxhall and Wight Motors with Toyota and Hyundai.
The large number of franchises on display makes this year’s show a must for anyone considering the Motability scheme.
The show will be open from 10am until 4pm.
Admission is free and full disabled facilities are available at the leisure centre, including wheelchair access.
