Blow your own trumpet at workshop

MUSIC WEST Wight Arts Association opens its new season with a performance workshop for trumpeters and cornet players of all ages.

The one-hour workshop will be led by internationally acclaimed trumpeter, Crispian Steele-Perkins.

Entrants should bring their own instruments and are encouraged to prepare a piece with piano accompaniment (pianist Les Pearson will be on hand) for Crispian to hear.

Friends and parents are welcome as audience and free refreshments will be available.

The event is on Saturday, September 15, at the Memorial Hall, Freshwater, at 3pm.

Tickets cost £5, including a £2 discount on a ticket for the evening concert, featuring Crispian, which will also be held at the hall, at 7.30pm.
