A BAR’S plans for summer events will be up for discussion by Isle of Wight councillors later this month.

Members of the Isle of Wight Council’s licensing determinations sub-committee are due to discuss an application by Joe’s in Ryde for three Temporary Event Notices (TEN) on Monday, May 14.

The High Street bar has applied for TENs for Saturday, June 16, Friday, July 13 and Saturday, August 18, from 9pm to 11.59pm.

It has said it wants to hold live music events on each of the days.

In a submission due to be considered by the panel, the police said measures should be taken to prevent excessive noise.
