Bear loose in Cowes

TV ADVENTURER Bear Grylls was spotted in Cowes on Friday.

Well known for resorting to some unusual foods on programmes such as Born Survivor, Bear stopped in at Tiffins cafe for something a bit more palatable - a chocolate sundae.

Michael Pointer, who had his picture with the former Bembridge boy now chief scout, said: "He was in his waterproof gear so I think he had just been out sailing."

Comedian and actress Arabella Weir, star of the Fast Show, was also spotted shopping in the town today.

chocolate sundae ?? what did he have to drink with it ? a snakeskin full of urine !!!
