A CHILDREN'S party business has appealed to Islanders to back its bid to win a national award.

Bedazzled Parties, run by Daniel and Charlotte Brisco, of Ryde, has been shortlisted in the best children's party entertainment category in the What's On 4 Junior Awards.

The Isle of Wight company specialises in themed children's parties but it needs votes — the deadline is May 6 — to have any chance of winning the award.

Charlotte said: "It is a really tough competition because there are some great people in it.

"But it's 100 per cent reliant on votes so we would be really grateful for the support of Islanders."

Anyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win two VIP tickets to the awards ceremony on June 15, plus a luxury spa treatment at the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel, Arundel.

Votes can be cast here.
