Bestival acts announced

Chase & Status will be playing on The Port Stage on Sunday night.

BIG NAMES have been announced for The Port stage at Bestival, including Chase & Status and Annie Mac.

The Port stage runs from September, Friday 4 to Sunday 7, with a different theme each day.

Friday night is techno night, with Bestival organiser Rob da Bank due to line up alongside Damian Lazarus.

On Saturday, Annie Mac will wow crowds by kicking off her Miss Annie Mac's massive party night. She will be followed by Radio 1's Monki.

On Sunday, Chase & Status will play a DJ set, before Andy C. Wilkinson, Loadstar and Gorgon City wrap things up.

Rob da Bank claims The Port is the coolest stage of the festival, with lasers, pyrotechnics and confetti being used to create a rave atmosphere.

In another announcement, the Radio 1 DJ said a man in a rowing boat will be suspended in the air above the HMS Besitval to add to the aura.
