ISLANDERS have been urged to join a national appeal.
Next month, the Great British Bagathon is again calling on the Isle of Wight to join the country’s biggest stock donation appeal.
People have been urged to donate bags full of unwanted items to British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops.
Organisers say support from local people will be vital — filling bags with unwanted clothes, shoes, toys, books, CDs, DVDs and dropping them off at any Isle of Wight BHF shop.
This year people can also take on a bag-filling challenge for the Great British Bagathon by setting a target number of bags and asking friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues to help.
