HOVERTRAVEL has announced that the amended crossings between the Isle of Wight and Southsea will continue until the end of today (Friday).
The company is running a one-craft schedule and the changes are a result of over-running maintenance on the hovercraft Freedom 90, they said this afternoon.
The following services are cancelled:
From Ryde: 16.30, 17.00, 17.30.
From Southsea: 16.45, 17.15, 17.45.
Normal service will resume from the 7.45am crossing on Saturday morning.

Well, not strictly true. You forgot the additional delays forced upon commuters this week that resulted in an hourly service being provided. Excuses included the weather, staff sickness, a suspicious post package and someone in a wheelchair.
