Car fire treated as suspicious

A CAR fire this morning (Friday) is believed to have been started deliberately.

Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service was called to tackle the blaze, at Granville Road, Cowes, at 1.29am, and remained on the scene for around half an hour.

Police were in attendance and the fire is being treated as suspicious, according to the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
