A MICROLIGHT has crashed at Isle of Wight Airport in Sandown this morning (Tuesday).
The crash was reported to the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service at around 10.46am. A spokeswoman said no-one was trapped.
Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said at around 11.15am that two people were being treated for minor injuries.
*The runway was due to re-open at noon.
It was initially reported that the aircraft had collided with a hangar, however it was later confirmed it had not hit a hangar, but collided with a verge.
