Crash at Ventnor

ISLE of Wight firefighters were called to a road traffic accident at St Boniface Road, Ventnor, after reports of a person trapped in their vehicle.

The call was made at around 10.30am today (Monday).

*A police spokesman said three vehicles were involved and one had crashed into a garden wall.

They added that up to three people had received minor injuries.

A fire and rescue spokeswoman said that the driver thought to be trapped following the crash had managed to get out and was not injured at all.
