FIVE cyclists are gearing up for a challenge to raise money for charity.

The group will set off from Largs Yacht Haven on the west coast of Scotland on a six-day journey to Lymington Yacht Haven.

The marathon event is in aid of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust — a charity that takes young people sailing to rebuild their confidence following treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses.

The cyclists, all of who are based in Lymington, will be covering around 475 miles and have set themselves a fundraising target of at least £5,000
