FOLLOWING this year’s installation of a 250-seat woodland amphitheatre, Robin Hill has teamed up with Isle of Wight Radio to present two terrifying films this Hallowe'en.
Chosen to scare audiences senseless, the films are going to be shown tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday.
The films are The Omen (Tuesday) and The Exorcist (Wednesday), both rated certificate 18 and definitely not for the faint-hearted.
The 1976 version of The Omen was Damien’s first outing: a seemingly harmless little boy who turns out to be the Anti-Christ.
As for The Exorcist, released in 1974, it’s one of the highest grossing horror films of all time and probably one of the scariest too. Possession, demons and spine-chilling suspense galore, this is another film designed to give you nightmares.
Doors will open at 9.30pm and the films will start at 10pm each night but if you arrive after 9.50pm, you won’t be allowed in. Warm clothes, something waterproof and something to sit on are recommended — and some form of ID, as no under-18s will be admitted into the event.
