ORPINGTON Photographic Society and Sutton Camera Club, met on January 15 in a preliminary round of the South London Competition.
This will lead to culminate on Finals Day in April.
The clubs progressed neck and neck and for their prints, Sutton was awarded 65 and Orpington 68. Two Certificates were awarded to Orpington's Chairman Tony Seppings.
Judges are asked to award a plus mark in case a tie-break is needed and in the slide competition Sutton scored 66 plus with Orpington winning with 66. Two certificates went to Brian Robson of Sutton and Marjorie Sands of Orpington.
Meetings take place at The Priory, Church Hill.
