ANOTHER outdoor event has fallen victim to the bad weather.
Gardening Galore, due to take place this Sunday, has been called off.
Organisers this afternoon (Thursday) inspected the Rookley sports field venue and reluctantly made the decision to postpone the gardening show.
They said that should the area dry out enough in the coming week, and at least 50 per cent of the stallholders wanted to re-schedule it, it would be held instead on Sunday May 13.
A final decision will be made following a further inspection of the field on Thursday May 10.

I can only echo Annabel's words (not relating to Anthony as I don't know him) but relating to the organizers of the garden show.

I eagerly clicked on to this article as I assumed it must surely be about my husband's best friend Anthony who thinks he has the best garden in the world and is always boasting about it. Then I realised it was a different 'gardening show-off' and I stopped reading as I'm afraid gardening show's aren't of interest to me - especially the ones Anthony goes to. Although I would like to extend my commiserations to the organisers and wish them luck in re-scheduling it.
