HUNDREDS of pounds have been raised for charity thanks to a sky dive by an Isle of Wight man.
Kai Davis has raised £800 after friends and family sponsored him in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, £300 more than his target.
"The sky dive its self was the most amazing thing I have ever done, I hadn’t even been in a plane until that day!
"The weather during the day wasn’t the best and we weren’t sure I was going to be able to do the dive. But, when it was time for me to go up, the sky cleared and the wind dropped, the sun was shining and at over 5,000 feet I could see the Island from Salisbury, it was beautiful.
"Then going up to about 20,000 we jumped.
"The best feeling of the day was landing safe in the long grass and looking up to see the setting sun in the distance and thinking to myself, I’m still alive," said Kai, 21, of Caesars Road, Newport, who thanked everyone who supported him.
