Houseboat takes on water in Bembridge Harbour

FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a houseboat taking on water in Bembridge Harbour today (Sunday).

Crews from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the stricken houseboat, Gay Dawn, at 12.10pm.

They used pumps to try to control the flooding. Harbour officials later took over pumping out the vessel.
