Tooting and Mitcham let a two goal lead slip away against Wealdstone on Saturday.
Centre-forward Conrad Kane scored after four minutes from the edge of the box. He followed this up with a second goal in the 20th minute.
Wealdstone pulled one back from the penalty spot mid-way through the second half. And, in a tense finish, the visitors scored an 85th minute equaliser.
General manager John Lang-ford said Tooting had put in a remarkable effort against the team currently third in the Ryman League. He believes Tooting, currently midway in the league, stand a good chance of winning the season's remaining matches.
