Keep safe is and should be, the mantra for all, but as a 4X4 owner, I would always give help if needed.

Stephen, That's a tad selfish. You seem to be more concerned with what you can do with the varied weather we get. There is an alternative.

If it snows or it's cold? Look out for the elderly. Who's going to make sure they have enough food? Are they keeping warm?

If it rains,? well we're used to that. but if it's torrential? Look out for flooding. Accidents will occur. The emergency services will be stretched.

If it's sunny, don't complain that it's too hot. Enjoy yor swim. But bear in mind, the elderly can't cope as well as us 'nippers'.

If it's too icy to drive stay indoors. Saves on broken bones and bent cars. Don't bother to catch a bus. They'll only get stuck somewhere eventually.

We cannot overcome nature. We just have to adapt to it. Keep safe people. :-)

Who really cares, it's the weather and it will change. I for one love every type of weather, if it snows then brilliant as my daughter can enjoy it. If it rains then we spend time as a family. If its sunny, then off to the beach we go and finally if its cold then we wrap up warm.

Get over the weather people and if its too icy to drive then walk or get a bus.

Graham. It's the Isle of Wight. They'll grit before the heavy rain and that'll get washed away and then, to quote the old song. We'll all be slip sliding away.

OK Isle of Wight Council,You've had the warning from the Met. Office, so GET THE GRITTERS OUT instead of closing the roads and messing people up for getting to work. You've had peoples Council tax as well so give us some services for it.
