It's all in a day's work -- monkeying around with a bunch of youngsters on a new play area -- for NatWest Bank Borehamwood branch manager Bob Winnington.
He was at Woodlands School in Alban Crescent to open the new £3,000 play area from which pupils aged from five to nine cannot seem to stay away since being unveiled last week.
"The children only had a playground before but now they have a play area with things to play on -- a monkey bar, stepping logs, and they love it," said the school's Carole Byfield. Parents raised £1,200 towards the cost of the play area through a year of fundraising events, and the school footed the remaining cost.
Mr Winnington who was invited to officially open the play area also donated a cheque for around £200 to the school's parents' association.
