David Firmstone.
AN ISLAND artist has been selected to take part in the 2012 Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition.
David Firmstone, of Old Park Road, Ventnor, was chosen from almost 1,000 entries to take part in the exhibition, at the Mall Galleries, London.
The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is the largest prize for watercolour in the UK and offers total prize money of £18,000.
The exhibition takes place from September 17 to 22 and the winners will be announced on September 20.
