JUST months after opening a restaurant, a chef has earned a prestigious rating from food critics.
Justin Brown opened his new restaurant at Farringford in February and can already boast two AA rosettes.
The chef said: "I did not know they were coming down. They told me at the end of the meal and then sat me down and interviewed me about the restaurant and what I was planning for the future.
"I spoke to them about the garden and all the food we grow here as well as the local fish and meat that we use.
"I am confident we will get a third AA rosette soon."
Justin hopes to achieve Michelin stars at the restaurant but made a pledge to make sure it remained affordable.
"I am not going to put the prices up, even if we get Michelin stars. If the local community are supporting us, which they are, then we want to support them," he said.
