Kitchen fire in East Cowes

FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a fire at a house in East Cowes this evening (Sunday).

Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service crews from Newport and East Cowes were sent to extinguish the fire, which was in the kitchen of a two-storey property in St David's Road.

The fire was reported at 5.45pm. No injuries were reported, according to the fire and rescue service.
