Five-a-side gauntlet down
Richmond police youth and community team islooking for teams to take part in their annual five-a-side football tournament. The competition will take place at the Watneys sports ground on June 6 and 7. Application forms are available from Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington and Barnes police stations.
Money magic
A new way of getting your holiday money has been introduced by British Airways. They have gone into partnership with leading money changers Travelex. Passengers now booking BA flights can order their travellers cheques at the same time and if for any reason the pre-ordered money is not available customers will be refunded the cost of their outbound flight.
Cook's cash
For one day only travel agents Thomas Cook are offering commission free exchange on dollars and pesetas.This Saturday all holiday makers to Spain and America can get their foreign currency without paying a penny in commission. The offer is on at all branches of Thomas Cook but there is a top limit of £2,000.
