A war memorial found in a state of disrepair by building workers has been restored and now takes pride of place on a new Muswell Hill housing development.
The cross and plaque were discovered during construction on the former church site in Alexandra park Road.
Developer Bryant Homes restored the memorial which was re-dedicated at a ceremony attended by Haringey Mayor Cllr Dhiren Basu (pictured) and members of the Royal British Legion.
