WATFORD boxer Ojay Abrahams is ready for the fight of his life when he steps into the ring at the York Hall, in Bethnal Green, tomorrow on Saturday, March 16, to face John Humphrey.
The Watford boxer has tried four times to win the Southern Area Light Middleweight title, and, at 37, this could be his last chance.
He has already won the British Masters title, but the Southern Area is the more prestigious belt.
Abrahams has been training solidly for weeks and is convinced Watford boxing history will be made.
Apart from his British Masters triumph, the last Watford boxer to win a professional title was Alex Buxton, who won the British Light Heavyweight crown almost 50 years ago.
Abrahams said: "I feel great. I know you have heard it all before, but this time I am taking the law into my own hands, and I really believe I will not be waiting for the referee's decision at the end.
"I believe I am going to hand out the most severe beating ever witnessed in a British ring. Over the last ten years, you have heard this and heard that, but the talking stops here."
