A 'POP-UP’ fish and chip shop has opened on the Isle of Wight.
The takeaway, called Catch, is in the previously unused garden of the Yarmouth Institute.
All Catch’s fish is bought at local fish markets and sourced from the south coast. The business aims to support the UK’s fishing industry while providing the freshest produce.
Before opening Catch, its owners sold popular fish finger sandwiches at the Bestival. But their new shop sells food in the heart of Yarmouth, just a short walk from its harbour, town and ferry, wrapped up in back copies of the County Press.
The shop’s creator Hayley Elston said: "We’ve been open since the beginning of August and have received lots of positive feedback and wonderful support from both residents and visitors."

Have eaten there a number of times over the summer and was most impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Yarmouth has been crying out for a decent fish and chip shop for a long time and it's wonderful to hear its been a success. Long may it stay!
