Stansted took a break from their league programme over the weekend, and dont have another fixture until Tuesday April 28, when they take on Potters Bar in their South Midlands Cup semi-final clash.

With just two league games left, against high-flying Concord Rangers and East Ham United, the Airportmen will be looking to continue their stunning cup run against the in-form Spartan Premier League North side who are their last obstacle before the big final.

Stansted have already had success in the Uttlesford Charity Cup, when they defeated Saffron Waldon 3-1. In an entertaining final, goals from Andy Roberts, John Varney and Scott Nixon were enough to ensure that the club has at least one piece of silverware to show for their efforts. Sawbridgeworth Town also took a break this week and have just two games left against Concord Rangers

and Great Wakering Rovers in the Essex Senior League.
