Vickie Harris has an open studio event this weekend.
BUSINESS Jewellery designer and maker Vickie Harris is launching her new jewellery business with an Open Studios event this weekend.
Vickie, who is based at Jubilee Stores on Newport Quay, has created silver pieces inspired by the Island’s landscape, including necklaces, pendants, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks, as well as a range of rings.
She specialises in precious jewellery, using mainly silver and gold, and precious and semi-precious stones to create pieces, which can be worn on an everyday basis, as well as the occasional more lavish piece.
Her aim is to give each piece a different style to make it unique to its owner.
Vickie will have her new collection on display at her first open studios event, from today (Friday) until Monday, from 10am and 6pm, and at the Garlic Festival, on August 18 and 19.
