The junior team of Borehamwood Crusaders produced the only positive result for the club in matches played over the weekend.
The Eagles were beaten 12-9, with Matt Sewell top scoring with four goals.
At half time, the Crusaders held a 6-3 lead but after the break they found themselves 8-7 down.
Sewell then bagged a quick brace as his team got back into the game.
Other strikes came from Dave Samuel (2), Robbie Sewell (2), Garry Spight (2), Steve Dickinson and Simon Pepper.
Earlier, the Lionhearts and the pee-wee team both faced strong sides from Lightnings.
A solitary strike from Harry Hammon was all the Lionhearts had to show for their efforts in a match they lost 18-1.
The pee-wee team found themselves locked at 3-3 after a breathtaking opening period in their game.
Sam Scrivener gave them the lead after the break but then the Crusaders lost their way and lost 8-4.
Steve Barrow, Curtis Esty and Tom Kasler scored the other goals.
