FITNESS expert Rosemary Conley said she hoped to return to the Isle of Wight following the success of her Skate into Shape initiative.
Rosemary, 65, visited Ryde’s Isle of Wight Arena with her Dancing on Ice skating partner, Mark Hanretty, as part of the Skate into Shape tour.
Mark, a champion figure skater, provided three hours of skating tuition to 17 participants, before he performed two routines with Rosemary, which featured in the ITV show earlier this year.
Among those taking part were Toby and Maria Webber, of Shanklin, who were former Rosemary Conley Slimmer of the Year award winners.
Rosemary, a diet and fitness expert for more than 40 years, said she had a great day on the Island and paid tribute to the participants and audience.
She said: "We had a lovely time on the Isle of Wight.
"The participants were very attentive and the audience was extremely supportive.
"I am sure we will be back."
Since starring in Dancing on Ice, Rosemary has championed ice skating as the perfect exercise for body toning.
She said: "It is the best exercise for legs and bottoms — there is nothing like it.
"It is very good for balance and motor skills and I would recommend it to anybody."
