WORK has finally started on the new Aldi store, close to BAE Systems, Cowes.

The supermarket was given permission in February, 2010, for a 1,633 sq m store as part of an industrial and commercial development on ten acres of land near the BAE radar development site, in Three Gates Road.

This week Aldi would not comment on when the store was likely to open.

I am wating to hear from Aldi as to whether the suggestion put to them 'that the store house a Changing Places toilet' was taken onboard?
