WASTE collections cancelled on Tuesday because of the snow will take place tomorrow (Saturday), according to the Isle of Wight Council.
The following rounds were affected — Niton, Chale and St Lawrence, Brighstone and Shorwell, Freshwater (through Calbourne to Chillerton) and the rural round.
*The Isle of Wight Council said Forest Road tip would not open until noon tomorrow (Saturday) as it was being used by vehicles making collections missed due to snow this week.

Now 17.15 on Saturday and no collection in St. Lawrence as promised!
