THE Riverside Centre was the place to be for cool moves, fluorescent outfits and men in tutus on Sunday.
The latest charity Zumbathon in aid of Isle of Wight youngster, Sophie Rolf, has been hailed a 'fantastic success’ by its organisers, who said the room was "buzzing."
The dancing was led by Try Zumba and those behind the fundraising thanked everyone who supported the event.
Until very recently, Sophie was a happy-go-lucky little four year old girl living on the Isle of Wight with not a care in the world.
During May, Sophie’s parents noticed a tremor in her left arm and after numerous hospital visits and an MRI scan in June, the family received the terrible news that Sophie had brain cancer.
Sophie has an aggressive brain tumour and was set a course of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and was accepted on a drug trail within weeks of diagnosis.
Money raised through the KissyPuppy Appeal will be used to support Sophie’s journey through this and to ensure Sophie and her family get as many magical experiences as possible.
