Two pedestrians thwarted a thief as he tried to steal a handbag from a pram on Wednesday, March 6. The man was walking along Theobald Street in Borehamwood when he took the bag from the pram and started walking away, but two people approached the thief, causing him to drop the bag and run away empty-handed. He was a white man in his 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall, clean-shaven with short cropped brown hair. He wore a blue fleece and light blue jeans.
