WIGHTLINK Islanders are ringing the changes again for next season, by signing another new face to the line-up.
The fourth rider to sign up is Tom Perry, who joins his Dudley team mate from this year, Darryl Ritchings, Ben Hopwood and Adam Ellis for the 2013 campaign.
And if all things go to plan, Islanders will announce a fifth signing at the club’s Christmas party tomorrow (Saturday).
Co-manager Chris Hunt said he delighted to sign 19-year-old Perry.
"As with last week’s signing of Darryl, I’m delighted to be bringing Tom to the IW and feel sure he will prove to be a very good signing indeed.
"I’ve had my eye on him for quite a while now and moved quickly to snap him up when he was made available and both my colleague, Kevin Shepherd, and everyone else here at the club are more than happy with the way things are going in terms of team building for next year."
Tom, who this year also rode for Somerset in the Premier League, is eagerly looking forward to the challenge of the National League.
However, his first challenge is to recover from the broken wrist he suffered at the end of last season against Mildenhall.
"I’m really looking forward to riding for the Islanders in 2013, especially as I top scored with 14 points for the Heathens in the league match there earlier this year," he said. "2013 is certainly going to be a fresh challenge for me but I’m very much out to prove a point or two and the way the Wightlink Islanders team is shaping up, I think it’s going to be a very exciting season ahead."
