A COUPLE who met on a night out in Newport, Aaron Michael Bentley and Eva Mary-Anne Jolliffe, were married at the Lakeside Park Hotel, Wootton.
The bridegroom, a website developer, is the son of Mrs Christine Bentley-Cook, of Fieldway Crescent, Northwood, and the late Mr Keith Bentley.
The bride, a graphic designer, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs David Jolliffe, of Hunnyhill, Newport.
The bride wore an ivory taffeta gown, with crystal embellishment and ruched bodice, with a corset band and an asymmetric gathered train and a silver crystal tiara.
She carried a bouquet of ivory roses with purple lisianthus, bound with ivory satin ribbon.
The bride was attended by Jo Yates, who wore a full-length Victorian lilac satin dress.
Dan Ashcroft was best man and Jim Bentley (bridegroom’s brother), Marco Labato and Matthew White acted as ushers.
Deputy registrar Lois Smith officiated.
After the ceremony, the couple held a reception at the Lakeside Park Hotel.
They plan to go on honeymoon later in the year.
