A COUPLE who met while studying at Portsmouth University, Martyn Neil White and Josie Jessie Turner, were married at the Taplow House Hotel, Buckinghamshire.
The bridegroom, a senior audit manager, is the son of Mr and Mrs Steven White, of Redhill, Surrey.
The bride, a retail manager, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Malcolm Turner of Sylvan Avenue, East Cowes.
The bride wore an ivory satin and lace dress with a long ivory net and lace train. She had a head-dress with a floral style hair slide and an ivory veil. She carried a shower-style bouquet of sunflowers, ivory double lisianthus and mini yellow gerberas with a small white stallion chrysanthemum.
She was attended by Rosalind White (bride’s sister), who wore a deep purple, full-length satin dress and seven-year-old Jessica Salkeld (bride’s niece), who wore an ivory satin and lace dress with a deep purple sash. Both carried hand-tied bouquets of sunflowers and purple lisianthus.
Oliver Salkeld, ten, (bride’s nephew) was a pageboy and wore a morning suit. James Hunt was best man.
Registrar Kerry Kelleher officiated.
A reception was held at the Taplow House Hotel, followed by a honeymoon in Lanzarote.
